How do I find this wp-config file and get my website back up? I'm currently hosting with Vultr, and I've checked the server status (Nginx) via Terminal it's running fine. From my understanding, there's supposed to be a lot more files, like wp-admin, wp-config, etc. However, logging in to root (both with Terminal and Cyberduck) only gives me 4 files: nf, wordpress_nf, readme and license. I'm on a Mac, so I've been using Terminal to login to the root via SSH. Most of the solutions to this online say that I should edit the wp-config.php file. (Right after installing the plugin, I noticed that it said it might not be compatible with my form of Wordpress. I'm pretty sure the plugin is at fault here, though I could be wrong.
It says "Error establishing Database Connection". My site was working completely fine today, I installed a plugin and a child theme, and now my site is completely down. Hello everyone! I am relatively new to Wordpress, so please bear with my questions. EDIT: I was playing around with CyberDuck and I've finally found the wp-config.php file: it was in the var/:)
